We are thrilled to reopen and excited to share our new exhibitions and remarkable collection with you. To ensure the health and well-being of our guests and staff, we have put into place a number of guidelines to make sure your visit is not only fun and inspiring but also safe.
Please note that the Addison Gallery is operating in compliance with the travel order set out by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Under this order, visitors from
"lower risk" states are welcome to enter Massachusetts without quarantining. Visitors from all other states must complete the Massachusetts travel form and meet the quarantine requirements for 14 days or produce a negative COVID-19 test result administered 72 hours prior to their arrival in Massachusetts. The Addison asks all visitors to attest that they are in compliance with the Massachusetts guidelines. If you cannot confirm your compliance with the Massachusetts travel order, then we regret we are unable to provide entrance at this time. Further information can be found at

While at the museum, all visitors and staff must comply with the following health and safety measures:
Face coverings must be worn over the nose and mouth at all times.
Maintain 6 feet distance between others.
Follow directional signage.
Wash/sanitize hands frequently; hand sanitizing stations have been installed throughout the museum.
Additional safety measures and precautions at the Addison:
- We are operating at reduced capacity.
- Enhanced cleaning measures have been implemented.
- All on-site programs, including group tours, have been suspended until further notice.
