To donate online: click the SUPPORT THE ADDISON button below, which will bring you to our donation site. On the form, be sure to check that “Addison Gallery of American Art” shows up in the “Designation” drop-down menu. 

To donate by mail (for gifts by check only): download and print the donation form to complete and mail with your gift.

To donate by phone (for gifts by credit card not made online, as well as gifts of assets such as stocks, wire transfers, estate giving, etc.): call 978.749.4023.

Friends of the Addison

Join Friends of the Addison with a gift of $50 or more and enjoy:

  • Invitations to members-only special events
  • A 15% discount at the Addison museum shop
  • Free admission to over 1,000 museums through the North American Reciprocal Museum Association (with a gift of $100 or more)

The Director’s Circle

The Director’s Circle recognizes donors who provide annual support of $1,000 or more. Members enjoy the benefits of Friends of the Addison, as well as:

  • Invitations to special programs, including tours of private collections, auction previews, and events
  • Complimentary Addison exhibition catalogues

Addison Artist Council

Addison Artist Council (AAC) members provide support for an artist to have their first solo show at a collecting museum, along with a publication, acquisition of art for the collection, and an artist’s residency on campus. AAC members receive:

  • Invitations to a variety of events
  • A vote on the work to be acquired
