Join us on Saturday, October 22, to celebrate Harry Benson: Four Stories

Photojournalist Harry Benson, whose pictures have appeared in numerous publications including Life, Vanity Fair, and The New Yorker, among others, has documented some of the most important events and influential people of the past six decades. This presentation showcases four powerful photo stories from the 1960s by Benson: the building of the Berlin Wall, the James Meredith March, the Beatles’ arrival to the USA, and the presidential campaign and assassination of Robert F. Kennedy.

Q&A with Harry Benson: 5:00 pm

Curators Tessa Hite and Allison Kemmerer will facilitate a Question & Answer session with Benson during which they will discuss his six decades of work as a photojournalist. This program will take place in Kemper Auditorium, located next to the Addison on Chapel Avenue, in Phillips Academy’s Elson Art Center. Space is limited and registration is required.

Exhibition Reception: 6:00-7:30 pm
