TOUR: Both Sides of the Line: Carmen Herrera & Leon Polk Smith with curator Dana Miller

Join exhibition curator Dana Miller at the Addison to explore the exhibition Both Sides of the Line: Carmen Herrera & Leon Polk Smith. This exhibition, organized by the University of Michigan Museum of Art, explores how artists Carmen Herrera and Leon Polk Smith redefined the visual language of modern art. Their perspectives intersect, diverge, and resonate, offering new ways to understand abstraction, identity, and the power of friendship.

After the tour, all are welcome to stay for an Opening Reception for the Spring Exhibitions, from 4:00-6:00pm.

This program is open to the public and presented in partnership with Andover’s Memorial Hall Library; space is limited and registration is required.
