Workshop: Self-Image at a Distance: Portraits with Tommy Kha

I wanted to find a way of representing myself without literally photographing myself. So instead, I have been making photographs of photographs of my face and body as a way to control my representation. – Tommy Kha

Join photographer Tommy Kha, as we use printed photographs of ourselves to explore new methods of self-portraiture and visualizing identity. Bring your own camera or your phone. The program will include a short tour of his exhibition, Hayes Prize 2025: Tommy Kha, Other Things Uttered.

This workshop is free, but space is limited and registration is required. Open to adults as well as participants in middle school and up.
