Eye on the Collection, 2017–2018

September 1, 2017–July 31, 2018

The Addison is committed to presenting a wide range of well-known and less-known works, each exhibition season for discovery and appreciation. To this end, the museum’s growing permanent collection, now numbering more than 18,000 objects, is reinstalled several times a year, making it new at each visit. This spring, the Addison presents paintings, photographs, and sculpture from the 18th through 20th centuries by artists such as Mark Bradford, Thomas Eakins, Nan Goldin, Charles Sheeler, and Lorna Simpson.

Generous support for this exhibition has been provided by the Bernard and Louise Palitz Exhibitions Fund.
