James Prosek, Fall 2013 Edward E. Elson Artist-in-Residence

On view now, James Prosek: The Spaces in Between showcases the exquisitely crafted and thought-provoking work of James Prosek, which questions accepted notions of how we understand and interpret the natural world. As the Addison's current Edward E. Elson Artist-in-Residence, Prosek, an artist, naturalist, and author, has been active on the Phillips Academy campus and with the community. He has spent time with students from Phillips Academy and other local schools in classes in a wide variety of subjects, spoken about his work with Addison visitors at a gallery talk and at the fall opening reception, and participated in programs for families at Andover’s Memorial Hall Library and at the Addison's Drop-In Family Day. Prosek will return to the Addison later this fall to continue his work with students.
