The Art of Opposition (March 4–July 31, 2025) was curated by Phillips Academy students enrolled in Art 400 Visual Culture: Curating the Addison Collection. Working as a team, they identified works that embody themes of rebellion and resistance from across the Addison’s permanent collection, capturing the interplay between art and resistance in two different ways: art as a form of resistance and the artistic documentation of rebellion.
